Ola Tony, Just wanted to have a bit of rant about the spawn of satan who are making an appearance back in the beach car parks already. You know who I'm talking about, those bullies with the mechano set traps, the ones who make you empty your pockets just to check the surf, the clampers. It's only February and they're already on my case, as I drive down to the beach I can feel their eyes following me. They know I'm there for the surf, they can see I'm driving a beaten up piece of crap, they think I fit the profile of a non-payer...but f*@k them...they don't know me, watch and cry Mr Clamp as I put the correct amount of change into the machine. Ha! In your face! Although I guess that means they've still won. F@*k! Spread the love, increase the peace and let's get amped not clamped! Love Gringo P.S. Too right, got me a £60 ticket at Praa last Spring on a Sunday morning at about 9am….just didn’t get out of the water in time. Totally spoiled what had been a sweet dawnie up till that point. Not one other car in the car park and not a soul around…. a totally vindictive piece of cash generating bollocks, administered by a power tripping sneak-thief with no morals. There was no justification in congestion/ traffic pressure terms for charging at that time… just one of those outrageous things that we are supposed to put up with as a function of living in an overcrowded, over-regulated society. Thats it. I’m going by incontinent donkey from now on.
yeah, then the RSPCA will slam you up for “neglet” after you leave the stinking heap munching gravel in the carpark, you just cant win !
I know a man with a portable angle grinder who is willing to grind off the clamps - Newquay area only! But hey, buy one and start a business in your local area.
