Porthleven in the snow
Magazines all want cold, moody winter shots, here’s a plan, there’s a shed load of snow on the way and a 14 second swell period for Porthleven. That’s a plan.

As cold as it gets, thats what it was, cold enough to make yer teeth ache when you smiled.

We had sun, rainbows, snow, wind, helicopters, Porsche/Ferraris (something red with no roof rack) ? close outs, barrels and reef, faces from Ireland (Jack Johns) faces from Kernow and a petrol warning light all the way home.
After our usual “boys own veg shop stop” we spent the next 3 hours driving back home to Newquay, rolling cars off their roofs and following gritters, 4X4s and blizzards, that was a good day.

And shooting snowy barrels …….. well, it’s harder than it might be, the light is poor and the snow blurs the shots, mags wont like them.

Ha,ha,ha.
Now at last, you´re in the most humble position to witness the same cold dullness we´re used to every year for months on the freezing continent. Go and get the girls some dogs and a sled.
