PEACE. Not everything has to be serious surely ?

Many hands make light work

Surf photography is a struggle at the best of times, everyone with a camera seems to be pulling, pushing and pissing about in their own shit,  its every man for himself, so, setting up a “collective” will certainly buck that trend and should/could/might be, a way of getting a small group of people to all pull in the same direction ? Yeah, you might think so, but reality is different.

“It just takes time”, yeah, well I get told that a lot, but its a glib expression non the less, and what we need here is a Fairy Godmother.

Watch any self respecting, patronising, sycophantic Walt Disney  kids cartoon and there’s a Fairy Godmother in there somewhere, scratching about making shit happen and tying up those loose ends, making things work out nicely. We obviously need one here, so, nominations please, who is to be the official  surftwisted Fairy Godmother ?

  1. Well, isn’t that what team work is ???… A chance to blame somebody else ???…

P.S: When the Fairy Godmother shows up, be sure to send her my way..

  2. OK
Lionel is now, the official “SURFTWISTED FAIRY GOD-MOTHER”
Make everything turn out nice Lionel

  3. Fairy godmothers tend to show up when you have pretty much thrown the towl in, if at all. To say you need one, and that you are aware of their existance is going to make the chances of them appearing in the line up even more remote. I suggest buying old lamps from car boot sales and rubbing them while you wait.
P.S Walt Disney would have had you locked up with all this talk of a collective, this smells of communism.
