Hypothetically, whats to stop us building our own ? Why do we need to bother about Councils, Rowing Clubs, Fishermen, Kerry Black, meetings, projected fiscal down-turns, opposition groups or committees ? Why can’t we just do it ourselves ?
Surely, as a group, surfers could sort ourselves out enough to get a few boats, spades, sand bags (are they bio-degradable)? and people down onto Little Fistral, load up the boats and dump the bags out over the side for as many days and weeks as it takes.
Whats to lose ? Anybody know ? And before anybody whines about taking away sand from the beach, get down to Fistral early and watch them loading the stuff onto tractor trailers and driving it out of town…..

If I had time I would be keen on the design title. For what it is worth I think it should be yellow. Would it work on a pay per ride basis, or would it be a free ride hippy type affair.

A submarine, if fully operational colud be moved from beach to beach, it could then be painted in the fairground style with a few lights. It should probably have a freak show that travels with it. A small fee of 50p per ride and a pound for cover ups, purely to cover fuel costs.

got a nice little local spot yesterday morn with the fluffyone. chest high, clean, brilliant. south coast surf drought offically over for this week.
Will be working back down in bournemouth come April.. they got that thing finished yet?
