Padstow harbour freezes over !

Padstow harbour actually froze over today ! We got the shots, sent them out un-edited (computer still can’t edit images) and waited. Its funny when, in order to demonstrate what’s being talked about, you can just lift your own shots off the internet ? You just gotta  love it.

In truth, we were there only because we’ve been trying to surf and photograph a particular wave for ages now, today it didn’t happen again, that’s all part of it, you need to put the hours in. However, Alices plan B, a wander along the river from Padstow, turned out to be a good call.

The beach, sea and harbour were frozen, boats were locked into the ice, cauliflowers, dog turds, a large jelly fish, mud and rock pools were all frozen solid.

As soon as this computer starts working properly again, and allows us to resize the shots we will sling up a few, in the meantime, fingers crossed we get that wave soon.

  1. Here in Blackwater dog shit froze as soon as it was evacuated, I have never seen the like in Kernow before, and that is saying something, I am 108 years old, awesome!

  2. and before you know it, its going to be spring again, probably next week

  3. That poor seagulls feet are stuck in the ice. Somebody save it.
