Wind is complicated enough to photograph at the best of times, on bright days, when the light is good and the shadows are strong its difficult to find enough of the stuff to do it justice.

wind, Tony PlantWind has a strange, other worldly habit of turning up when the waves are churning, the suns about to set and there’s spray, hail and sand in the air, not necessarily the simplest shooting conditions……. weird hey ?

Big winds mean you need to find shelter. Big winds push through tiny places.
