For the last 84 years underground tree Ninja artisan craftsman Roy Stewart, 43, GSOH, dog loving, LHD, well mannered, NS, with a clean driving licence,  based in New Zealand surf guy, has been recreating boards of blah blah blah  from cut down and dead Paulownia wood , he  combines traditional board blah blah design blah blah blah from the fields of aerodynamics (wasn’t that a Sting song)? , blah blah blah  fluid mechanics and hull design, blah zzzzzzzzz  zzzzzzzzzz  he does build big buggers.

Check out this bunch of hairy arsed surfers and wooden surfboard nuts  www.woodensurfboard.co.uk who are attempting to bring a sodding great big HUGE  OLO (FP12) surfboard to the UK to ride some funky  British waves and river bores.

Its a great idea, and good people are organising it, so theres a chance it will work out, get involved or sling them a couple of quid ? Why not ? This project is being funded through donations by supporters, many of whom will get a chance to ride the board; apparently theres a target of £1200 to cover the materials and import of the board and they reckon they are already over 75% of the way towards reaching that total.
